So much has happened....

Summer is upon us now...

we are having lots of fun at the pool....

on July 4th lighting sparklers...

the annual fair in our town...

having pizza with our cousin

We've been up to much more...I will update soon but we are keeping sort of busy around here...Summer ROCKS and we have 5 weeks left of it until school is back...

Spring Break!!!

We are officially on Spring Break...woo hoo....

On Sunday we went to the Planetarium...

 On Monday we went to the Crayola Factory

On Tuesday, Boom Boom had a play date and Mandy and I headed to the library to pick up some books and dvd's and back home.

Today, we are hanging out at home.  I am cleaning and washing clothes so we can have the next two days of fun!!!

Updates!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been kind of busy!!!! Both our trees came down...okay we have them taken down...and now we have this HUGE space with nothing in it....we are trying to get our backyard into some kind of shape...let's see how long that takes...

The girls have been busy with school and stuff. This is their last week before Spring Break.

 And Mandy decided that she should do this, Bruce (our dog) doesn't really care - she usually ignores him so that she was actually paying attention to him, he did as he was told!

 And the girls cannot wait for summer so they pulled out their chairs and decided to brave the not so mild Spring weather we are currently having!!!

Leprechaun trap

Mandy had to create a leprechaun trap...I took an old light bulb box (no before pic) covered it with green ribbon,

 made the ladder out of popsicle sticks (sticks were already green), printed out some shamrocks...

  I had popsicle sticks in all colors so we used it on the other side to create a rainbow effect, boom boom made the rainbow, I glued the sticks, some gold coins (scrap paper), gold glitter to add some pizzaz

and there is your very own leprechaun trap....Mandy was very proud to bring this to school today!!! 

Oh yes, we filled the bowl with lucky charms, only marshmellows because Mandy loved the colors!!!

we went to build-a-bear, Mandy had a gift certificate and she got this cute kitty

Boom Boom got this little one (it's called a small fry) Did you notice Boom Boom has braces!!!

I finished my tables and here are my new curtains, courtesy of my mom!!

We are putting in a new patio, I know, I know...how many MORE projects can I fit into my life!

Updates

Just some updates for you guys.

We are redoing part of our roof. FINALLY.  Finally, no more leaks and all that means that I get to re-do my laundry room *jumping up and down* and I have to - you heard correctly HAVE to paint my hallway/entrance/foyer {doing the happy dance again}

I'll keep you posted on those projects.  But for now check out what we've been up to...

SPRING

Oh what a wonderful feeling...spring is in the air....the snow is melting and I can see my grass again (it's not pretty) but I'm okay with the snow being gone!!!

Pretty soon, we'll have to plant flowers, water them, open up the doors and open up the blinds because the sun will be our light...oh so happy Spring is near!!!!!

Because of that I started on some projects...repainted my shelf over the fireplace and got a new cover for the fireplace, pics coming soon.  I also want some new curtains and perhaps some new fabric for my pillows...I also want to change the fabric on my chair in the dining room....oh i love having new projects to do!!!!

Valentine's Day

Hey guys, what did you guys get for V-Day? My hubby got me a pair a Uggs! Soo sweet! Honey if you are reading this, I love you so much and thank you for the kind gift! Anyways so V-Day was good I had a nice day full of love and happiness but, everyday should be like that right?

Storms

Here in NY we've had 8 storms - snow, rain, sleet, ice - you name it - it's happened.  We had 2 snow days and today was a 2 hour delay, they call you at 5:30 a.m., to let you know that school doesn't start til like 10:30, do you think I could fall back to sleep? exactly.

So the girls still got up at their usual times, because they had no idea there was a 2 hour delay.  It was nice, they had breakfast, watched a little t.v. and then got a little antsy waiting for the bus!!!  Oh gosh, they are saying storm #9 on Saturday.  Today the groundhog predicted that spring will come early. I hope he's right because with a storm every few days it almost seems that winter is here to stay longer than anticipated!!!!
