I've been MIA - the girls and I have been so busy. Yesterday we went to the library and we read some books, joined the Summer Reading Program and Kailyn became a volunteer.

Today we had an evaluation appt for Mandy, mandatory when you are entering a public school system for the first time. Then we went to Mcd's for lunch. Then headed off to the library to watch Princess and the Frog @ 3pm at the library right now I just got home and need to cook dinner, but I'm feeling a little under the weather and all I want to really do is sleep! Until tomorrow!!!

Moving Up [Mandy]

Her moving up day was nice. Afterwards we had Kailyn's first concert so we had to go back home and change for that - the concert was great!!!

Today the girls and I went to have a picnic in the park. We had sandwiches and fruit/chips and water. We had fun sitting there while Mandy had to kill every ant she saw and scream if she saw any other type of bug...K sat up while watching everyone in the pool. After lunch, we headed into the pool. It was funny - we got in the baby pool and K was acting weird - I come to find out like 7 boys from her school were there and so she really didn't want to be in the baby pool with her 2-piece on...lol oh boy. We moved right into the big pool (cuz hello I'm a girl I know how that goes) and she was acting more like herself. We spent about 2 hours @ the pool. then we hit the playground...they hit it running - I sat @ the bench. Now we're home - they are in the shower and I'm blogging!!!! Gotta luv life! But soon enough I will shower as well and then clean up a bit - tomorrow we have a grad bbq for them and my nephew and we have tons of ppl coming over. Then on Sunday is my niece's, Natalie's baptism.

Tomorrow is also my niece's (1 year anniversary - Natalie's twin sister). I will always remember you and keep you in my heart, Gabriella.

Amanda a/k/a Mandy

Meet Mandy - name given to her by me - and also she is known as Nani - this name was given to her by her cousin, Jaden. They are a month apart and are practically brother and sister. When they were learning how to speak, he couldn't say her name so he pronounced it as Nani and so Nani was adopted as her nickname by him and my mom. Sometimes we call her Nani but mostly I call her Mandy. Mandy is so energetic, she's full of life and she's so funny!!! OMG she's hysterical. She's a princess - totally a princess and she's a diva at the same time. She is detailed-oriented - for real she notices EVERYTHING if you got new shoes, she's gonna let you know she likes them. She has to match and she's VERY picky about her clothes for a LONG time she would NOT wear jeans. She's also very bright and has a lot to say!!!! She loves her older sister with all her heart!!!

Kailyn a/k/a Boom Boom

Meet Boom Boom - this name was given to her by my sisters - their husbands - don't even know how it started but although she doesn't like to be called "boom boom" in public - they still to this day call her that...I call her boo boo most of the time...she doesn't like that nickname either! Mostly these days I call her K. Isn't she just beautiful (not just cuz she's mine) but just cuz she is!!!! She's also VERY bright - this little smarty pants got all A's on her last report card, received 8 awards not including her diploma and all over her yearbook it says 'so sweet' - so she's not only incredibly SMART - she's also SWEET.....Oh I LOVE you my big girl!!!!

A little about us...

We are a family of 4. {3 girls and 1 boy} I know GIRLS rule. My 2 girls are 9 and 5. My husband says we drive him CRAZY and I say 'that's why we're here!!!! I am here to document our lives - the good moments in our lives that go by sooooo fast that we forget so easily!!!!

I was laid-off back in April. I was devastated but I've moved on. Right now it's almost July and the girls are out of school and we are going to have the BEST SUMMER EVER. I don't know if I will have this chance again, so why not document it - live it - love it - and just enjoy it!!! I also have another blog it's more party planning/decorating related - this one will be more about my family and what we do!!!!!
